About the Role

Our client is looking for a compassionate and highly skilled Early Childhood Teacher specializing in Special Needs to join their inclusive education team in Soweto. • Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and lesson strategies for children with special needs.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Utilize specialized teaching methods and adaptive resources to facilitate learning and development.
• Collaborate closely with specialists (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) and parents to support each child's progress.
• Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress, adjusting educational plans as needed.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing guidance and support regarding their child's needs and progress.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Special Needs education.
• Proven experience working with young children with disabilities or developmental delays.
• Deep understanding of special education methodologies, developmental milestones, and inclusive practices.
• Excellent observation, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
