Events & Banqueting Waiter​/Waitress

Our client is seeking friendly and attentive Events & Banqueting Waiters/Waitresses to provide exceptional service at functions and events in Soweto . This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality, who enjoy interacting with guests and contributing to a smooth and enjoyable event experience. You will be responsible for serving food and beverages, attending to guest needs, and ensuring the highest standards of service professionalism during a variety of events.

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner according to event requirements.
• Set up dining areas, ensuring correct table settings, decorations, and accompaniments are in place.
• Attend to guest requests and anticipate needs, providing a high level of customer service throughout the event.
• Clear tables, manage service stations, and maintain cleanliness and tidiness during and after the event.
• Collaborate with other event staff and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Previous experience as a waiter, waitress, or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as dictated by the event schedule.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays with food and beverages.
