About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational functions of a prominent hotel in Soweto . This role is essential for ensuring the seamless delivery of services across various departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage. You will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, and supporting the overall success of the hotel in the vibrant Gauteng area.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement initiatives to enhance satisfaction and service delivery.
- Oversee staff performance, provide training, and foster a positive work environment.
- Manage departmental budgets, ensuring operational costs are controlled effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations management or a similar senior role.
- Strong understanding of all hotel operational departments and their interdependencies.
- Proven ability in staff management, training, and motivation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.
