About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Field Sales Promoter to represent their leading FMCG brands within the vibrant communities of Soweto. This hands-on role involves engaging directly with consumers, demonstrating product benefits, driving sales, and ensuring excellent brand visibility at point-of-sale. You will be a key brand ambassador, educating customers and encouraging trial and purchase. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about sales and consumer engagement within the dynamic FMCG sector, working extensively across Soweto.
Key Responsibilities- Actively promote and sell FMCG products by engaging customers in retail environments across Soweto.
- Conduct product demonstrations, provide information on features and benefits, and answer customer queries effectively.
- Drive product trial and purchase through persuasive sales techniques and attractive product displays.
- Ensure products are well-stocked, attractively merchandised, and adhere to planogram requirements in stores.
- Gather customer feedback and market insights, reporting back to the sales and marketing teams.
- Build positive relationships with store staff and management to ensure optimal brand presence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Passion for sales and customer service, with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role.
- Previous experience in sales, promotions, or customer-facing roles is advantageous, particularly in FMCG.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Soweto area and work flexible hours as needed.
