About the Role

Our client, a prominent name in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Field Sales Promoters to join their team in Soweto . This role is critical for driving product sales and brand awareness directly at the point of purchase within various retail outlets. You will engage with customers, provide product information, conduct demonstrations, and encourage sales through persuasive communication and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a passion for promoting FMCG products within the local community. This hands-on role offers a fantastic opportunity to be the face of the brand and directly influence purchasing decisions.

• Actively engage with customers in retail environments to promote FMCG products and drive sales initiatives.
• Provide detailed product information, answer customer queries, and conduct compelling product demonstrations.
• Encourage trial and purchase of promoted products through persuasive selling techniques and positive brand representation.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and promotional objectives set by the company.
• Report on sales activities, customer feedback, and competitor activities observed in the field.
• Ensure effective display and presentation of promotional materials and products in accordance with brand guidelines.

• Proven experience in Sales Promotion , direct sales, or customer service, preferably within the FMCG industry .
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills.
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality with a passion for sales and customer interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic retail setting.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a goal-oriented mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in retail sales is a significant advantage.
