Senior Environmental Scientist

You will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and overseeing environmental monitoring programs. • Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new projects and existing operations.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans and pollution control strategies.
• Oversee environmental monitoring programs, including air, water, and soil quality assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable national and local environmental laws and regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental best practices to project teams and management.

• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental management and assessment, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental impact assessment processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with environmental modeling and monitoring technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience working in the Gauteng region.
