About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and technically adept Field Installation Technician specializing in systems to join their team in Soweto . This role is vital for the successful deployment and setup of our client's various systems and equipment at customer sites. You will be responsible for accurately interpreting technical specifications, performing installations with precision, and ensuring that all systems are fully operational and meet client expectations.

This is a field-based opportunity for an individual passionate about practical application and committed to delivering excellent service within the Gauteng area.

• Execute the installation of systems and equipment at customer premises according to technical blueprints and company procedures.
• Configure and test installed systems to verify functionality, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
• Diagnose and resolve any technical issues encountered during the installation process, performing necessary repairs.
• Maintain detailed logs of installation activities, including materials used, time logs, and any site-specific challenges encountered.
• Provide basic operational guidance and initial support to end-users on the installed systems.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

• Previous experience in a field installation role, ideally within the Installation & Maintenance sector.
• Strong understanding of relevant systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical, IT infrastructure) and the ability to work with tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Effective problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation are required for travel within the Soweto region.
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with clients on-site.
