Installation & Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking a diligent and skilled Installation & Maintenance Technician to join their operational team serving the Soweto area. This role is fundamental to ensuring the successful deployment and ongoing upkeep of our client's products and systems at various customer locations. You will be responsible for performing installations, conducting routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise, ensuring maximum uptime and customer satisfaction.

This hand-on position requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in the field, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of the systems our clients depend on daily.

• Install, configure, and test equipment and systems according to established procedures and client specifications.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, conducting repairs as necessary.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, providing professional and effective on-site support.
• Maintain accurate records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities using company systems.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines during all on-site operations.

• Proven experience as an Installation & Maintenance Technician or in a similar technical field role.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret technical diagrams.
• Proficiency in using various tools and diagnostic equipment for installation and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Good communication and customer service skills for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule of service appointments effectively.
