About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled Appliance Repair Technician to serve the Soweto and surrounding areas. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of household appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and high-quality service. You will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing necessary repairs, and providing clear communication to clients about the service provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys problem-solving and working directly with customers in their homes throughout the Gauteng province.

• Diagnose and repair common household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, stoves, and microwaves.
• Perform routine maintenance and service checks on appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify faulty parts and replace them with appropriate new or refurbished components.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and work performed.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining the issue and the repair process clearly.

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of appliance mechanics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand tools relevant to appliance repair.
• Good understanding of safety procedures when working with electrical appliances.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
