Electrical Installation Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Installation Technician to join their operational team in Soweto. This position is essential for the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems and components in various settings. You will be responsible for executing installation plans, ensuring all work meets stringent quality and safety standards, and troubleshooting any installation-related issues. This is a hands-on, on-site role that requires practical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in a dynamic environment.

• Install electrical wiring, conduit, lighting, and power systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure safety and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues encountered during or after installation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople on site.

• Relevant trade qualification or certification in Electrical Installation.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Installation Technician or Electrician.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in various site conditions.
