Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrates knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals.
- Organizational and motivational skills.
- Ability to model behavior as outlined in the Coaches Handbook.
- Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years.
- Willingness to support the total athletic program.
- Current First Aid and C.P.R. card.
- Those recommended for hire must attend a training class.
Hepatitis B and HIV vaccination required if necessary, and completion of the district’s sexual harassment training class.
- Those recommended for hire will be fingerprinted for a background check.
- Head coaches must be 21 years of age; assistant coaches must be 19 years of age.
- Classroom teacher is preferred but not required.
