Speech Language Pathologist in Spanaway, WA

Step into a fulfilling school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position supporting preschool students for the  academic year. This contract opportunity begins August 31st, 2026 and continues through June 15th, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week across five days. • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY welcome
• Previous experience with preschool or early childhood caseloads is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• SLPAs are encouraged to apply and will be considered for this role
• Background in delivering both direct and consultative SLP services beneficial
• Committed to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to preschool students in a school setting
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate student progress documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals
• Offer guidance, training, and support to SLPAs and staff as appropriate
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and case reviews
• Engage in ongoing professional development and school-based initiatives
