Hello, LPNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for students in Spanaway, WA. This role focuses on supporting medically fragile student and/or diabetic students throughout the school day, potentially including transportation needs. - Provide nursing support to students in school
- Assist with safe transfers, including on/off the school bus
- Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs
- Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Support student access to school throughout the day
- Active Washington State LPN license (DOH) or Compact Multi-State Nursing License
- Experience with trach care, G-tube required
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
- Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a pediatric setting
