School Nurse Position
A school district in the Spanaway area is seeking registered nurses to provide school-based nursing support for the school year.
Position Details- Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
- K12 school-based assignments
- Health room/school nurse role
- Provide nursing care and support to students
- Manage health room needs and respond to student health concerns
- Provide 1:1 nursing support if a child's nurse is out
- Administer medications and treatments as needed
- Develop and follow student health plans
- Communicate with families, staff, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active Washington RN license
- ESA Certification required
- School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting students across K12
Compensation for this position ranges from $38.00 to $57.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
