School Nurse
- Health room | Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) | Full Time | Spanaway, WA | 2026–2027 School Year Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN-BSN) to serve as a School Nurse for the  school year in Spanaway, Washington. This is a full-time, in-person serving students across the district. Start Date:

ASAP for the entire 26-27 school year Responsibilities:

Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and IHPsMaintain accurate health records and documentation

Communicate with families regarding student health needs

Collaborate with school staff, special education teams, and administrators

Participate in IEP or 504 plan meetings when appropriate

Support health education and wellness initiatives

Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols

Monitor immunization compliance and conduct health screenings as needed

Qualifications:

Valid Washington State RN license (DOH)
School Nursing ESA or eligibility required (must have BSN to apply for ESA)
BSN required

Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start

Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
