Insurance Sales Representative – State Farm Agent
$50,000–$75,000 | Base Salary + Commission + Bonuses

Tom Hollandsworth – State Farm Agency is hiring a full‑time Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to start a sales career in a professional, goal‑driven environment.

No insurance experience required. Paid training, licensing support, and opportunity for a signing bonus!

Responsibilities include but not limited to...
  • Closing new business
  • Following up with leads
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Cross‑selling additional coverage
  • Providing prompt, accurate customer service
  • The role also includes prospecting, appointment setting, and working toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base salary plus commission
  • Monthly and annual performance bonuses

Requirements:
  • Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • Ability to make cold calls and set appointments
  • Comfortable building client relationships

  • Creative problem solving
  • Basic computer and CRM skills
  • Sales, retail, hospitality, or other customer‑facing experience is preferred but not required. We provide training and guidance throughout the licensing process.

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
