Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Spanaway, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a high-profile aero and defense location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, manage access points, and document activity with clear communication and customer service.
This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements, and offers a team-focused environment built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and check identification and/or credentials as required, assist with visitor processing, and report unauthorized entry attempts per site policy.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
- Complete routine reports and shift logs, communicate security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and support ongoing compliance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
