Delivery Expert

This position pays $17.13 to $20.29 per hour plus mileage and tips. Cash tips are paid daily. Employees receive paid sick leave per Washington State law. Qualifying full‑time employees will be offered employer‑sponsored medical benefits, employee discounts, and opportunities for advancement.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and related areas approximately daily.

• Deliver product by car to customer doors; deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Maintain a safe driving record and vehicle in good condition; access insured vehicle used for delivery.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
• Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing as required.
• Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from vehicle to customer locations.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

• Accurate basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); calculator may be used.
• Provide correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• Store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some areas.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes, and hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F.
• Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Communication requires talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks; vision to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

• Standing most tasks performed; walking over short distances.
• Standing on ceramic tile or linoleum; walking surfaces include ceramic tiles; work surfaces 36–48 in high.
• Walking short distances for short durations.
• Sitting for paperwork at a desk or table.
• Lifting bulk product deliveries (max 50 lb, 3 ft × 1.5 ft) onto shelves up to 72 in high.
• Carrying goods (3–7 lb, 30 lb pizza sauce) and with trays of pizza dough (~12 lb).
• Pushing/or pulling trays on dollies (24–30 in stack, up to 7.5 lb force).
• Climbing stairs or ladder as required to change signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
• Stooping/bending at pizza assembly station (~30–45 s per instance); forward bending at front counter and stocking.
• Crouching/squatting occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
• Reaching above 72 in, down, or forward for various tasks.
• Use of hands continuous; strong forearm and wrist action required for pizza dough handling and cutting; pinch force required for box assembly.

• Carrying product while walking and climbing stairs.
• Driving within designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• Travel between store and delivery vehicle, and from vehicle to customer locations.
• Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery as necessary.
