Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximise their potential and performance.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners within the agri-food sector.
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to expand the company's market presence.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar senior sales role, preferably within the agri-food or agricultural supplies industry.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong business sense and in-depth industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • A consistent track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field is highly desirable.
