School Age Teacher

This position is perfect for someone who loves working with school-age children, enjoys structured routines, and can bring positive energy into the classroom every day. Full-time flexibility is recommended so you can support different classrooms and coverage needs throughout the day.

You will assist lead teachers with curriculum-based learning, classroom routines, and daily supervision while helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically in a safe, nurturing environment.

• Support school-age classrooms with engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Help lead learning centers, group activities, art projects, and structured play
• Assist with outdoor play, gross motor activities, and smooth classroom transitions
• Help with meals and snacks and supervise children during mealtimes
• Support healthy routines like handwashing, cleaning up, and daily classroom organization
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe classroom environment (daily cleaning included)
• Communicate and collaborate with your classroom team and help maintain positive relationships with families
• Follow Utah child care licensing rules and center health and safety guidelines
• Stay calm and respond appropriately if an emergency comes up
• Maintain reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance

• Full-time flexibility is required (must be able to work scheduled shifts within 6:00am–6:30pm)
• Someone who truly enjoys working with school-age children
• Patient, positive, dependable, and a strong team player
• Able to multitask, stay organized, and work well in a busy daycare environment
• Calm and confident in a classroom setting

• CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers Permit (or willingness to obtain)
• Willing to complete required child care training hours
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and move comfortably throughout the day
