Responsibilities- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler, and work area.
- Prepare product and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
- Participate in orientation and on‑the‑job training.
- Comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions to customers and co‑workers.
- Handle monetary transactions accurately and manage change.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Cooperate with team members to meet quality control and customer service standards.
- You must be 16 years of age or older.
- Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and accurate with monetary calculations.
- Fast and precise motor coordination between hands, eyes, and fingers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under stress.
- Exhibit strong customer‑service orientation.
Physical Requirements
Exposure to varying temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler areas to over 90°F in some work areas, adverse weather conditions during outside tasks, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500°F, and mechanical parts.
Required physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying up to 30 pounds, pushing trays on dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, forward bending, crouching, squatting, reaching above 72 inches, and fine hand coordination. Daily duties require sustained eye‑hand coordination, use of pizza peel, rolling cutter, and assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
Activities may involve noise, close quarters in walk‑in cooler, bright cooking lights, and rapid movement in a busy environment.
