Experienced Architectural​/Production Design Manager; Not Remote

Experienced Architectural / Production Design Manager:
This position will require the Manager to oversee the technical drafting process, enforce quality control standards, and manage deliverables to keep projects on schedule and within budget. The Manager will be proactive in producing construction drawings for modular buildings and helping to drive innovation and efficiency in production. Other duties include but are not limited to reading completed architectural plans and engineering drawings for accuracy, producing a Revit model that is converted to a framed element through a Revit plugin, Strucsoft/MWF;

general knowledge of plan reading, framing, and municipal/state requirements affecting building. Building permit submittals, plan and file management, distribution are also included. The Manager will subcontract work with engineering firms as needed.

• Team leadership and mentorship experience a must.
• 5 years plus CAD experience with a solid background in building design. Truss design experience acceptable.
• Proficiency in the latest versions of AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, MS Office programs, and similar Mitek design software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including measurable KPI reporting.
• Experience working with architectural production drawings and material knowledge required.
• People skills, problem solving, training.
• Working with and meeting KPIs.

• Create shop drawings for framing operations.
• Create shop drawings for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression operations.
• Print and distribute plans for production and office.
• Manage updates and revisions of plans as requested.
• Manage plan submittals for local and state governments as required.
• Creatively seek efficiencies in product.
• Work creatively with production team to achieve company goals.

DOE $70,000‑$90,000 Salaried.
