Life Balance Recovery is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Outpatient Program Director to oversee daily operations of our outpatient and sober living programs. This leadership role ensures clinical coordination, operational efficiency, client safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting staff and maintaining a high standard of care.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day outpatient program operations
  • Maintain client schedules, group coverage, and staff coordination
  • Conduct client orientations and oversee discharge processes
  • Ensure accurate EMR documentation and file management
  • Maintain regulatory and safety compliance (audits, drills, walkthroughs)
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff training
  • Lead and organize staff meetings
  • Coordinate scheduling for admissions, case management, billing, and support staff
  • Communicate team assignments and follow through on tasks
  • Monitor client medications and drug screening processes (UA scheduling and documentation)
  • Handle client concerns and assist with crisis management
  • Coordinate alumni and holiday activities
  • Oversee sober living operations in collaboration with house managers
  • Track and maintain client payments and invoices
  • Reconcile lab billing and manage EOB documentation
  • Maintain supply inventory and office organization
  • Coordinate discharge referrals and documentation
Qualifications
  • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or outpatient program management required
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with EMR systems and compliance documentation preferred
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
