Clinical Therapist Opportunity

Pay: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year

If so, New Haven presents a unique and invaluable opportunity for you to join our team as a Clinical Therapist!

At New Haven, we transcend the conventional residential treatment model. Situated in the serene surroundings of Spanish Fork in Utah, our campus not only provides treatment but also creates a nurturing home for adolescent females ages 14 to 18 and their families. Our focus extends beyond the ordinary, addressing intricate issues such as traumatic stress, family dynamics, and mental health nuances.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well-being.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing.
  • Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills.
  • Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Actively participate in family weekends, offering therapeutic support to families, and contributing to the overall healing process.
  • Organize and lead two-day camping trips twice a year, providing opportunities for experiential learning, building relationships within families, and creating memorable therapeutic experiences.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
  • Fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC); associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC) also accepted.
  • Committed to client growth through collaborative, team-based care.
  • Preferred two years of therapy experience, including individual, family, and group sessions.
  • One year of experience in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities is a plus.
  • Skilled in treatment planning and adjustment; must pass a state background check.
  • Must have or be willing to create a CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.
