Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker at our Foothill Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Center in Spanish Fork, Utah! This rewarding opportunity offers a competitive wage of $17.50–$22.17/hour and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals working toward recovery from substance use disorders. Foothill is a co-ed residential treatment and detox facility providing comprehensive, evidence-based care, including individual and group therapy, case management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), medication management, and gender-specific programming.
As a Human Service Worker, you'll provide compassionate support, help maintain a safe and structured therapeutic environment, and encourage clients as they progress through every stage of their recovery journey.
Schedule: Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM (Hours are Varied)
Compensation: $17.50–$22.17 DOE

What You'll Do as a Human Service Worker- Provide direct support and supervision to clients in residential treatment and detox programs.
- Foster a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment during assigned shifts.
- Support clients with daily routines, treatment goals, and healthy coping strategies.
- Observe client behavior and communicate concerns or changes to the treatment team.
- Assist with implementing behavior support plans and therapeutic programming.
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, case managers, and other staff to coordinate client care.
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain compliance with agency policies and standards.
- Encourage personal responsibility, recovery, and positive behavioral change throughout the treatment process.
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
- Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
- Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
- Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
