Parts Counterperson

Doug Smith Chevrolet in Spanish Fork, Utah is seeking experienced parts advisors. Our Parts Department has an excellent team. They are fun and exciting to work with. We are growing rapidly and cannot keep up with the workflow. We are a drug‑free work environment. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Estimated pay for this role is $18–$25/hr based on experience

• Receiving and processing all parts orders
• Understanding and control of parts inventory
• Creating bin locations for new stock
• Notify customers on parts arrival
• Notify of shortage & damage discrepancies
• Processing accessories and shelving them
• Prepare items for returns and shipping
• Separating orders for each dealership
• Deliver parts to a second location
• Light Forklift duties
• Processing Warranty scrap
• Keeping things in neat and orderly fashion
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or inventory preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and terminology
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Basic computer skills for inventory and sales processing
• High school diploma or equivalent
