Work Schedule:
Monday thru Thursday 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Friday Overtime when business needs occur
A 10% differential is added to the graveyard shift.
Performs the following types of duties: sets up, adjusts, and operates encapsulating, tableting, coating, stick pack equipment and pill picking equipment; monitors quality of production runs by use of scales, hardness tester, friability tester, vac leak detector, and comparison with former runs; recommends changes to operation procedures on a run-by-run basis as conditions change; cleans equipment and room thoroughly; maintains records of production runs;
monitors air flow rates, temperatures, spray rates, and rotation rates during coating process; communicates relevant information to coworkers; performs other related duties as assigned.
- Produces, tests, and inspects the quality of products for internal and external customers
- Operates and monitors production equipment
- Inspects, sets up, and cleans equipment
- Cleans production rooms
- Completes paperwork, performs computer input, and returns records
- Other duties as assigned
- Four years of high school plus specific course requirements
- Knowledge of weights and measurements (i.e. metric system)
- Red Zone and Oracle
- Skill in operating process equipment
- Basic math skills
- General computer skills helpful
- Able to monitor process equipment and keep accurate records
- Maneuver heavy weights
- Prioritize multiple assignments
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Able to communicate well with coworkers on all shifts and to work effectively in a team environment
