Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with our Substance Use Disorder Program at the Foothill Treatment Center in Spanish Fork, Utah! With a competitive wage of $23.03–$41.29/hour, this role offers the opportunity to use your clinical skills while supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey. Foothill Treatment Center is a co-ed residential substance use disorder facility offering both residential and detox services.
Residential clients typically participate in treatment for 60–90 days and receive individualized services including therapy, case management, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), medication management, gender-specific treatment, and group therapy. Detox clients typically participate for 3–10 days while receiving support from a therapist, case manager, and nurse based on their individual treatment and withdrawal needs.
Schedule: Saturday-Sunday (Every Other), 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
Compensation: $23.03–$41.29 DOE and Licensure

What You'll Do as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse- Administer and monitor psychiatric medications; assess for side effects and adverse reactions.
- Complete documentation including progress notes, doctor's orders, and admissions paperwork.
- Review labs, interpret preliminary results, and communicate essential updates to medical staff.
- Serve as a liaison with hospitals, pharmacies, residential programs, and other healthcare partners.
- Conduct mental status and basic physical evaluations (vitals, BMI, appearance, mood, etc.).
- Support clients with medication programs, pill box prep, and prior authorizations.
- Coordinate care with clients, guardians, prescribers, and insurance when needed.
- Provide educational groups promoting positive health habits.
- Assist with medical appointments for clients and monitor daily wellbeing.
- Maintain medication inventory, audit readiness, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited college or university
- Current Utah RN or LPN license.
- Prior mental health or behavioral health experience preferred
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screening, motor vehicle record review, and criminal background check
- Must obtain Utah Office of Licensing BCI clearance after hire
- Ability to provide official licensure documentation upon conditional offer
- Bilingual Spanish speakers may qualify for additional wage incentives
Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
