Suncore is looking for an experienced Diesel Field Mechanic to join our team in the Spanish Fork area. If you enjoy solving tough mechanical problems, working with your hands, and keeping heavy equipment performing at its best, this is an opportunity to put your expertise to work.

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair diesel vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Perform major engine and transmission repairs and replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including electronic controls.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to keep our fleet safe and reliable.
  • Complete road calls and perform field repairs when equipment needs you most.
  • Perform minor welding repairs and equipment and plant maintenance.
  • Maintain your tools and equipment - we’ll help with atool allowance and cell phone stipend.
  • Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
What You Bring
  • 2–4 years of diesel mechanic experience, including at least 1 year of field mechanic experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • A dependable, safety-minded approach and pride in doing quality work.
