As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll help patients check into the hospital, answering questions during registration and building trust by collecting accurate information quickly while listening with compassion.
Responsibilities- Work on computers and answer phones to intake patient and insurance information in a busy environment.
- Collect details accurately across multiple screens for physician and nurse check‑ins.
- Type quickly to match the pace of patient conversation, often coordinating with clinicians during emergent interventions.
- Handle patients who may be ill or worried, listening carefully to ease anxiety and asking follow‑up questions.
- Manage unexpected changes and work efficiently in a fast‑paced, on‑feet environment.
- Maintain up‑to‑date vaccinations, pass a drug test, and pass a background check prior to hire.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Confident multitasker, quick study with technology, and able to type and answer phones.
- Prepared to work in a hospital/lab environment and see illness and injuries.
Base pay: $16.00 - $21.10 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
