Shipping Associate

The Shipping Associate is responsible for using organizational skills to ensure items are packed efficiently and safely into a transport vehicle. Also responsible for loading the most items for transport to serve clients who rely on warehouse shipments as well as making sure an order is filled correctly to meet the customer’s needs. They may also be responsible for preparing and completing shipping documents as well as a liaison between Sales Representatives and shipping staff to process and record shipping of orders.

Typical Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Hourly Rate: $20 - $21 D.O.E.

• Operate forklift.
• Complete daily forklift inspections.
• Prepare shipments for delivery.
• Load product onto transport truck safely.
• Assist in planning daily transport trips to deliver quickly and efficiently.
• Assist in completing shipping paperwork.
• Assist in coordinating C.O.D. jobs with Office Manager.
• Assist in scanning delivery receipts into system.
• Assist in completing inventory cycle counts.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Maintains a positive attitude.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Read and accurately follow job instructions for each job ticket.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years warehouse / logistics experience.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, and standing / walking on concrete floors.
