Delivery Driver

Job Overview

We are looking for a pizza delivery and store team member who is at least 18 years old, holds a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, and has access to an insured vehicle for delivery. The role requires strong navigational skills, the ability to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Keep equipment and facility clean on a daily basis.
• Deliver product by car to customers' doors; deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Drive within the designated delivery area, perform several deliveries per shift.
• Maintain safety and quality control standards, meet strict deadlines, and work under stress.

• Perform basic math quickly and accurately; use a calculator if needed.
• Provide correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Coordinate eye‑hand movements to make precise and rapid motions.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch‑screen.
• Navigate maps, locate addresses, and maneuver around obstacles while carrying product.

• Stand for most tasks; walking occasionally for short distances.
• Sitting for paperwork in an office setting.
• Lifting: unload bulk deliveries up to 50 lb., stack onto shelves up to 72 in. high.
• Carrying: large cans (≈3 lb.) and 30‑lb. pizza sauce; trays of dough (~12 lb.) up to three at a time.
• Pushing and pulling trays on dollies (up to 7.5 lb. force).
• Climbing a few flights of stairs or a ladder when required.
• Stooping, bending, squatting for stocking and cleaning tasks.
• Driving: deliver pizza within a designated area, sometimes on rough terrain.
• Use of hands: continuous eye‑hand coordination for pizza assembly and tool use.
• Operate machines, tools, and equipment such as computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutters, peels, and TDD devices.

• Exposure to changing weather during deliveries and outdoor tasks.
• Workplace temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to over 90°F indoors.
• Fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust are present.
• Heat from ovens (up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges or moving parts.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Insured vehicle available for delivery.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
• Basic computer skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a reliable form of transportation, and be able to lift up to 20 lb. without assistance. Background check and remote texting acceptance may be required.
