Heavy Haul Transport Diver
As a Heavy Haul Equipment Transport Driver at W.W. Clyde & Co., you will play a critical role in safely transporting heavy construction equipment and portable asphalt/hot plant structures to and from job sites across the Intermountain West.
This is a Local 222 Teamsters position. Candidate must be willing to join the Teamsters union.

Our work includes building roads and highways, bridges, dams, airport runways, and installing large-diameter pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Load, secure, measure, and transport heavy equipment to and from job sites.
- Transport broken or inoperable equipment to repair shops as needed.
- Maintain a valid CDL (with Doubles, Triples, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements) and DOT medical card.
- Know and comply with all DOT regulations, including load height and width restrictions.
- Maintain an insurable driving record and ensure a safe work environment at all times.
- Be prepared for occasional overnight stays (travel required).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid CDL with Doubles, Triples, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements.
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance and safety requirements.
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Willingness to work long hours and travel as needed.
- Willingness to join Local 222 Teamsters Union
- Ability to walk long distances over uneven terrain.
- Frequently required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
- Must regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs, including overhead lifting.
- Frequent climbing on/off equipment using steps or short vertical ladders.
- Clear communication skills to follow instructions and safety protocols.
- Commitment to safety above all else.
- Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
