* ABOUT THIS ROLE:

** As a Material Handler II, you are a vital driver of production flow. We are looking for an organized, disciplined, and self-motivated professional capable of operating with high autonomy. In this role, you will manage your own daily workflow with minimal direct oversight, ensuring pallets are organized for processing, counts are verified, and POs are accurately received into our ERP system.

You are expected to proactively identify logistical bottlenecks, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and ensure our weld teams have the materials they need before they have to ask.##
**** RESPONSIBILITIES
* **** Independently prioritize daily tasks and manage time effectively to ensure all material needs are met without constant supervision.
* Execute cycle-counts and part verifications at regular intervals to ensure 100% data integrity within the ERP system.
* Proactively assemble and stage materials for weld teams; anticipate part needs to prevent production downtime.
* Independently unload vendor deliveries, verify documentation, and input data into the ERP system accurately.
* Safely and responsibly operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials across the facility.
* Identify and implement minor efficiencies in material flow and workspace organization.
* Independently maintain clear pathways and manage waste removal (garbages/gaylords) to ensure a safe, high-functioning environment.##

* QUALIFICATIONS:

***** Proven ability to work under little oversight and "self-start" based on production schedules.
* Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems or Google Drive is highly preferred.
* Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
* Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and remain on your feet for 90% of the shift.
* Strong basic arithmetic skills and the ability to organize and document product placement precisely.
* Ability to resolve minor inventory discrepancies and logistical hurdles independently.
