Inventory Specialist-Spanish Fork

Summary

The Inventory Specialist coordinates all activities related to raw material storage, issuing of materials to production, and maintenance of related records.

• Coordination and communication with production and inventory personnel
• Analysis and evaluation of materials and issuing of released jobs to ensure support of customer deliveries and operational performance
• Track inventory of raw material and job transactions for issuing
• Issues and delivers parts and materials
• Maintains inventory cycle counts and performs physical inventories
• Drives vehicles to transport stored items from warehouse or to pick up items from other locations for shipment
• Stocks warehouse and ensures that materials and parts in the warehouse are stored and accounted for properly
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• Must possess a valid drivers license
• Must be able to operate a forklift

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred two to four years related experience, or combination of education and experience
• Very detailed oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skills
• Apics Certification Preferred
• Inventory management experience required, using MRP/ERP systems
• Able to read and follow complex written instructions
• Computer experience required, specifically Excel
