Project Controls Analyst
This position will hire and start employment in Sparks, NV and transfer to Alaska when the project begins.
The Project Controls Analyst will be responsible for the planning and performance monitoring of assigned projects, including providing guidance to operational managers through the implementation of project controls processes, procedures, and contracts. The incumbent will track performance daily, weekly, and monthly, and incorporate quantitative and qualitative analysis to define both the physical and economic performance of the projects and recommend action to be taken should deviations from optimal performance be highlighted.
The incumbent will work to ensure that the business objectives of Redpath USA Corporation are consistently achieved by developing, implementing, and maintaining the project baseline and project execution plans and estimates, inclusive of setting up all project administrative aspects.
- Education:
- Required:
Bachelor degree in a related scientific, business or engineering field. - Preferred concentration in business or engineering in quantity surveying, cost estimating or mining.
- Additional qualification or certification(s) in project management, contract administration and key performance indicator measurement will be considered an asset.

- Work Experience:
5+ years of field and/or office‑based project accounting, estimating or controls experience related to underground construction projects or operational mining environment, with knowledge of project management, construction contracts, reporting and data manipulation. - Knowledge
Required:- Good understanding of general business interfaces and/or processes as they relate to human resources, procurement, engineering, construction operations, accounting, and administration departments.
- Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, scheduling software (MS Projects or Primavera) and measurement and estimating software.
- Good conceptual skills in understanding relationships between projects, the overall organization and its environment, and how change in one part of the project affects the whole project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to facilitate team commitment.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass background clearance check, drug screening and physical.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- High level of attention to detail, neatness and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
