CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGER

Responsibilities- Act as an ambassador, serving as a strong voice for our clients and the Operations Team.
- Take on a problem‑solving role, identifying issues and presenting viable solutions for team approval or refinement.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships, overseeing full account management, billing, and contractual needs.
- Ensure timely task completion while maintaining a normal work schedule; be willing to meet deadlines when necessary.
- Quote special projects and guarantee profitability based on time studies and data analytics.
- Participate in client meetings to gather feedback and act on appropriate steps.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations for special projects, contract variances, SLA compliance, and more.
- Work with Operations and Information Systems to onboard new clients and implement software changes, contract terms, etc.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage chargebacks accurately and promptly.
- Plan with Operations for special projects or swings in order volume.
- Adopt a start‑up mentality and perform hands‑on floor work to meet SLAs and client needs.
- Identify out‑of‑scope work and mitigate contract deviations.
- Present data, proposals, and business reviews to clients, including specialty reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong understanding of 3PL operations and logistics.
- Excellent communication and outstanding organizational skills.
- Experience in full account management and contract negotiation.
- Effective problem‑solving ability with a focus on solution implementation.
- Data‑driven mindset: use time studies, analytics, and reporting to guide decisions.
- Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Project Management, and IT.
- Proactive, start‑up mentality and willingness to handle on‑floor tasks.
