Field Safety Coordinator Q&D Construction - June 2024
Q&D Construction is currently seeking a Field Safety Coordinator who exhibits our values of service, integrity, and quality. Candidates who are a strong cultural fit will demonstrate that they are self‑motivated, honest, and hard‑working.
ResponsibilitiesA thorough job description will be provided upon being selected for an interview.
General responsibilities include:
- Develop and facilitate safety training programs and new employee safety orientation
- Recommend corrective action to incidents to prevent similar occurrences
- Annually review the written safety program and edit as necessary
- Perform job-site investigations by documenting vital facts in written reports
- Maintain and review various safety records including permits, citations and billing
5+ years of construction management experience in a safety-related role. Mining experience a plus.
Understanding of safety regulations and other aspects of safety management including:
- OSHA Standards (California and Nevada)
- MSHA Standards – Federal and State
- Employee Training
- Jobsite Inspections
- Safety record reporting
- Case Management
- Proficiency and comfort with technology tools and programs (Blue Beam, Power Point, Speed Sheet)
