Job Title: Field Safety Coordinator
Location: Sparks, Nevada (local candidates only as no per diem is offered)
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Through 2026 (with potential extension into early 2027)
Shift: Current Day Shift (Flexibility Required for Future Night Shift)
Position OverviewWe are seeking local candidate who is an energetic, field-focused Safety Coordinator to join our team immediately in Sparks, NV. This is a boots-on-the-ground role where the majority of time will be spent in the field — embedded alongside craft professionals and foremen where the work is happening.

The right individual will build trust quickly, support the workforce, and positively influence the overall safety culture.
This position is ideal for a safety professional early in their career who brings energy and personality to the team — while also understanding when situations require seriousness, discipline, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Provide field-based safety support alongside craft and supervision
- Engage crews through coaching, mentoring, and relationship building
- Lead and support effective pre-task planning and hazard analysis
- Identify, recognize, and mitigate jobsite hazards in real time
- Contribute to a proactive, learning-driven safety culture
- Deliver safety messaging at all-hands meetings and field briefings
- Partner with operations and leadership to support safe execution of work
- Promote trust and approachability — serving as a partner, not an enforcer
- Current shift:
Days - High likelihood of transitioning to night shift in ~5 months
- Candidates must be flexible and willing to adjust schedules as project needs evolve
- 4–5+ years of construction safety experience
- Local to Sparks, NV as no per diem is offered
- Strong field presence and comfort working directly with craft
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to confidently speak in group settings and mass meetings
- Proven ability to build rapport and trust quickly on jobsites
One or more of the following is strongly preferred:
- GSP (Graduate Safety Practitioner)
- STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction)
- CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician)
Candidates without certifications may still be considered based on experience and ability to successfully pass the Nevada OSHA Safety Coordinator interview process.
