Safety Specialist

Haz Tek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Sparks, NV to support our growing commercial construction projects. If you're passionate about making an impact, driving compliance, and building a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conducting daily safety meetings
• Completing accident reports and conducting accident investigations
• Ensuring all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Performing daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspecting power tools and heavy equipment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
• Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Electrical
• Excellent verbal and written skills

Pay Range: 90,
