Project Safety Manager – Data Center / Energy

Reports To: Manager, Project Safety

Locations: Arizona, Nevada, California, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Texas, Iowa

Salary: $95,000 – $125,000 (subject to location and qualifications)

Reward: Eligible for annual performance bonus plan

The Project Safety Manager supports Project Teams in developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) by creating and maintaining a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and includes the following responsibilities:

• Generate weekly Total Case Incident Reports for large projects and submit them to project leadership.
• Lead incident and injury investigations with support from Production leadership.
• Facilitate and participate in weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Monitor and audit compliance of CEI and subcontractors according to applicable standards, regulations, and project safety requirements.

We are looking for a seasoned, OSHA 30‑certified safety professional with extensive construction safety experience, particularly in the electrical industry. The ideal candidate brings:

• Strong understanding of electrical industry consensus standards (NFPA, NESC, ASTM, ANSI).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence safety behaviors.
• Team player mentality with the capability to work independently when needed.
• Passion for contributing to an organization that prioritizes safety for employees, the public, and the environment.
• Ability to obtain BCSP CHST or higher certification within 12 months.

In this role, you will gain hands‑on experience overseeing safety programs, co‑facilitating safety trainings, and supporting the execution of weekly safety meetings. You will work closely with field personnel to develop project‑specific plans addressing safety concerns within our “Safety First” culture.

Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work occurs in both indoor offices and outdoor construction job sites. Environmental conditions vary and may include occasional work at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

• High School Diploma or GED (required). Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification (required). CPR/FA certification (trainer preferred). Must obtain BCSP CHST or higher within 12 months.
• 3 to 5 years of construction safety experience, preferably in electrical safety.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship).

• Bilingual proficiency.
