Are you a caring, kid-friendly dentist looking for a fun and supportive place to grow your career? We're on the hunt for a Pediatric Dentist to join our team and help our youngest patients build healthy smiles that last a lifetime. If you love working with children, have a gentle touch, and want to be part of a tight-knit practice that genuinely cares about your growth, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Be Doing- Examining young patients and reviewing their dental and medical histories to get the full picture of their oral health
- Diagnosing dental issues and creating treatment plans tailored to kids' unique needs
- Performing pediatric dental procedures like fillings, extractions, crowns, and preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride applications
- Reading X-rays and other diagnostic tests to guide your treatment decisions
- Helping kids (and their parents!) understand the importance of oral hygiene and preventive care in a way that's easy to grasp
- Prescribing medications when needed, following all applicable regulations
- Referring patients to specialists for advanced or specialized care when necessary
- Keeping accurate, up-to-date patient records in line with privacy and regulatory standards
- Following proper sterilization and infection control practices throughout the office
- Working closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and front-office staff to keep things running smoothly
- Jumping into mentorship opportunities and ongoing learning to keep growing your skills
- Staying in the loop on new techniques, materials, and technology in pediatric dentistry
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice
- Experience or specialized training in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- A genuine love for working with kids and making them feel at ease
- Solid clinical skills across a range of dental procedures for younger patients
- Great communication skills, both with kids and their parents
- An eye for detail and a real commitment to quality, patient-centered care
- Good time-management skills to juggle a busy, varied schedule
- Comfort with dental practice software and digital imaging tools is a plus, but not required
- A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety standards
- An eagerness to learn and grow, with openness to mentorship along the way
- A clear path for career growth, with room to build new skills and take on more responsibility
- The chance to grow into a leadership role down the road in a small, close-knit practice
- Real mentorship from experienced professionals who want to see you succeed
- A supportive, collaborative team that actually enjoys working together
- A caseload that keeps things interesting and rewarding
- A warm, welcoming environment where you can build a career you're excited about
Whether you're just starting out in pediatric dentistry or looking for a fresh environment to keep growing, this role offers the support, flexibility, and opportunity to build a career you'll love.
