CNC Programmer
The Digital Programs Technician will oversee and execute tasks related to CNC, templating, and layout programs. This role requires expertise in computerized systems and software products essential for CNC machine programming, counter top templating, and project visualization. Collaboration within a team is crucial.
Responsibilities- Program CNC equipment used in the fabrication of countertops.
- Use software tools to create counter top layouts.
- Assist in the measuring and templating of countertops to be fabricated.
- Assist in tracking work-in-progress and remnant inventory for all business units.
- Maintain an active role in safety training, equipment, and compliance.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards residential and commercial customers at all times.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Competency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Competency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver license.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CAD drafting education/certification is highly desirable.
- Professional dress and demeanor.
The work environment involves using advanced CNC equipment and CAD software in the fabrication and templating of countertops. The role may require professional attire and interaction with both residential and commercial clients. Safety training and compliance are prioritized.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
