Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows needs Pre‑K Teachers with a degree in Early Childhood Education or Development for children aged 3‑5 for our Early Learning Centers. The position is salaried, aligned with the school district and Boys & Girls Club calendar, including closure for summer break. Instructional hours are expected to be 8am to 1pm, with additional prep time before and after instruction, likely 7:30am to 2pm.

The role is funded through the state and requires certain qualifications.

• Any one of the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or ECSE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field and state‑approved ARL in Early Childhood
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field and 30 or more ECE college credits
  • Already enrolled in the TEACH program for an early childhood‑related degree

• Experience with MS Word and Brightwheel is preferred.

• Plan and lead academic and social‑emotional activities in a 10:1 class.
• Engage with student families.
• Prepare supplies and materials for lessons and exercises.
• Manage student portfolios.
• Maintain safety of children and staff, and ensure an optimal experience for all.
