Facility Manager; Night Shift Hybrid

Join our dynamic team as a Data Center Facility Manager where you will lead the operations of Amazon’s global data center infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure, ensuring high‑quality work with minimal impact on internal and external customers.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians across all facets of their careers.
• Engage and lead improvement projects, collaborating with support teams from conception through completion.
• Coordinate daily with third‑party vendors to ensure adherence to contracted SLAs.
• Manage the operations budget and expenditures efficiently.
• Serve as the after‑hour on‑call Data Center Facility Manager, responding to incidents and overseeing investigation, mitigation, and recovery.

• 2+ years of work in a management position with 5 or more direct reports.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
• 3+ years of administrative experience including Microsoft Office products.

• Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations such as feeders, transformers, generators, switch gear, UPS, ATS, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air‑handling units, and CRAC units.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent, or 5+ years of experience working in a data center or other mission‑critical environment with an emphasis on building and equipment operation.
• Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in an environment that involves walking, stooping, bending, and climbing to access equipment.
• Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience.
