Facility Manager

Key Job Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure and ensure high quality work without impacting customers.
• Manage teams of 24/7 engineering technicians across all facets of their careers.
• Engage in improvement projects, driving them from conception to completion, often coordinating with multiple support teams.
• Coordinate daily with third‑party vendors, ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Operate as the after‑hour on‑call Data Center Facility Manager, responding to issues, managing investigations, mitigation, and recovery.

• 2+ years of management or team‑lead experience.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
• 3+ years of administrative experience including Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in critical data center operations: feeders, transformers, generators, switch gear, UPS, ATS, PDU, chillers, pumps, air handling units, CRAC.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent, or 5+ years working in a data center or mission‑critical environment emphasizing building and equipment operation.
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
• Ability to work in an environment requiring walking, stooping, bending, and climbing to access equipment.
• Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience.
