Our client, a leading organization in data infrastructure management, is seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer II to join their team. As a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer II, you will be part of the Critical Facilities Operations Department supporting critical data center functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to operational excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technical Operations Engineer II / Critical Facilities Technician

Location: Sparks, NV

Pay Range: $36.00

• Manage and oversee data center engineering operations, including risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on critical infrastructure systems such as generators, UPS, switch gear, and cooling systems.
• Coordinate with IT managers and business leaders to optimize capacity, safety, and performance of data center facilities.
• Lead on-site management of technicians, subcontractors, and vendors ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
• Assist in designing, building, and improving data center facilities and infrastructure projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical (Military/Trade School) Degree with relevant experience preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in data center operations or critical facilities engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
