Critical Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in data infrastructure management, is seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer II to join their team. As a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer II, you will be part of the Critical Facilities Operations Department supporting critical data center functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to operational excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Manage and oversee data center engineering operations, including risk management and mitigation strategies.

+ Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on critical infrastructure systems such as generators, UPS, switch gear, and cooling systems.

+ Coordinate with IT managers and business leaders to optimize capacity, safety, and performance of data center facilities.

+ Lead on-site management of technicians, subcontractors, and vendors ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.

+ Assist in designing, building, and improving data center facilities and infrastructure projects.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's Degree or Technical (Military/Trade School) Degree with relevant experience preferred

+ US Citizenship required

+ 2-4 years of experience in data center operations or critical facilities engineering.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
