We’re looking for a dynamic Commissioning Engineer. The ACx Commissioning Engineer (CxE) oversees and coordinates multi‑discipline work related to design review and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure for new construction and special projects. The CxE supports vendors, contractors, and other teams during the construction and commissioning of systems including medium and low voltage power, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water, BMS, and EPMS.

The CxE provides multi‑discipline input into scheduling, test script development, design, and project planning. The CxE also develops and reviews electrical and mechanical component and integrated systems testing and other commissioning documents to ensure compliance with the basis of design, specification, industry standards, and sequence of operations. The CxE ensures commissioning procedures follow safety practices and policies, audits commissioning activities, and communicates with the ACx Regional Manager and team to create and execute the required test documents.

The CxE provides comprehensive weekly reporting on project status, lessons learned, and program improvements. This position covers multiple inflight projects and tight schedules.

• 4+ years of commissioning experience
• 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission‑critical facilities including data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Professional Engineer license
• Experience with building codes and regulations for your region
• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
