The Nevada Department of Transportation is hiring for a Staff 1, Associate Engineer for the District2 Permit Office in Sparks, Nevada. The District traverses eight counties across Northwest Nevada and is responsible for permitting over 1,700 road miles.
Responsibilities- Review permit applications and conduct site visits to ensure compliance with Department standards and policies.
- Inspect permits during construction and complete daily reports of activity.
- Demonstrate knowledge of NDOT construction standards and how to implement them.
